My Appreciation of the Christ Revealed through the Ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, Anonymous

Since my parents were believers in the local church, I grew up under the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. I have found their ministry interprets the Word of God so accurately. Through these brothers' dedicated study of the Bible and countless experiences of our Savior Jesus Christ, they have unveiled the main theme of the Bible and the reason for our human existence.

The members of the local church are really blessed to have learned how to come to Jesus and how to know what is on His heart. During my years in high school, these wonderful teachings and the interpreted Word meant little to me. I had no idea how fortunate I was to be hearing such up to date high truths. In fact, when I began college, I did not accept some of these teachings.

As I spent more time away from meeting with the believers in the local church, I began to realize how full of truth the teachings really are. I began to realize how wrong my concepts were. That was because during this time, Christ began to become a reality to me. I began to realize how real Christ was and how He wanted a personal relationship with me! What a shame to His enemy that someone like me could fall in love with the Lord Jesus.

As my love for the Lord began to grow, I desired that the Christ that I had come to appreciate be more fully revealed to me. I realized that I belonged back in the local church--that I should be meeting with the local churches. It has been three years since I resumed meeting with the members of the local church. My relationship with the Lord continues to grow and mature as my spirit is nourished and supplied by many of the members in the local churches in Irvine and Berkeley and other cities. Now my life has taken on a new meaning and direction. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord for such a wonderful ministry, one that revealed to me that we human beings could have such a sweet relationship with the very God of the universe!
